こちらは取材で撮影したお食事の数々。

枚方のお店をまわってグルメ記事を書くんですが、知らなかったお店、行ったことのないお店に行けるので新しい発見がとても楽しいです。

取材同行も、いままで行ったものは結局食べる系。 食べてばっかりです。 食べるだけでいい取材同行はとっても楽しいですよ～。

ひらつーの同行取材で行ったのはこちら。 リナティが私を綺麗に撮ってくれたので事物よりよく写っている？！
同行取材では写真に写るのでパーソナルカラー意識して似合う色のものを着ています。 （笑）

ボランティアではNecorepublicの大阪・心斎橋にある保護ネコカフェ猫浴場で、イベントなどのお手伝いを時々しています。

アメリカに住んでいたときは、ラスベガスの保護ネコの団体で一時預かりなどをしていました。
日本に来ても、そのまま似たようなことを時間が許せるときにやっているという感じです。

一度、ラスベガスの保護団体から妊娠しているお母さん猫を一時預かりしたことがありました。
保護猫団体の方も、どれくらい妊娠が進んでいるのかわからないということで、いつ生まれるのか全く予想がつかない状態。

一時預かりを引き受けた翌日、友達と朝食を食べに出かけて、家に戻ってくると――

もう生まれていました。
２,３時間留守にしただけで猫の数が増えていました。（笑）

「え、もう？」という感じです。

お母さん猫はというと、何事もなかったかのように、けろっとしていましたけど。

いろいろな活動と言っても自分の興味のあることしか首を突っ込まないのですが、いろいろな人と出会うのが楽しいですね。

人との出会いが人生を面白くしてくれるのだと思っています。

Authentic Huesでは、枚方のスタジオでまちライブラリーの活動も行っています。
Authentic Huesも、そんな人との出会いが生まれる場所になればいいなと思っています。

A Few Other Things I Do Outside Authentic Hues

The photos here are some of the dishes I photographed during those visits.

I go around restaurants in Hirakata to write these gourmet articles. Visiting places I didn’t know about or had never been to before and discovering something new is always a fun experience.

The interviews I’ve joined so far have all ended up being food-related as well. So in the end, I spend a lot of time eating.

Joining an interview where all I have to do is eat is fun.

Rinaty is a wonderful photographer — somehow she managed to make me look better than I do in real life!
When I join these visits for feature articles, I know I’ll probably end up in the photos — so I make sure to wear colors that suit me best. Personal color awareness helps! (lol)

As a volunteer, I sometimes help with events at Necorepublic’s rescue cat café “Nekoyokujo” in Shinsaibashi, Osaka.

When I lived in Las Vegas, I also fostered rescued cats with a rescue organization there.
After coming to Japan, I have simply continued doing similar things whenever I have the time.

In Vegas, I fostered a mother cat who was pregnant. The rescue organization didn’t know how far along she was, so we had no idea when the kittens might be born. The day after I brought her home, I went out for breakfast with a friend. When I came back, the kittens had already been born!
In just a few hours, the number of cats multiplied! LOL

The mother cat, meanwhile, looked completely calm about the whole thing.

I wouldn’t say I’m involved in many different activities. I tend to get involved only in things that interest me, but I enjoy meeting many different people through these activities.

I believe that meeting people is what makes life interesting.

At Authentic Hues, we also host Machilibrary activities at the studio in Hirakata.
I hope Authentic Hues can also becomea place where people can meet and connect with others.
