まちライブラリー開館のお知らせ
Tokiko ShimaMachi Library at Authentic Hues
Authentic Hues（オーセンティックヒューズ）は、まちライブラリーに登録しています。
そこで、そろそろ不定期ではありますが、継続的にまちライブラリーを開館していこうと思います。
蔵書は決して多くはありませんが、
「本棚を見るとその人がわかる」と言う人もいますよね。
たしかに、そうかもしれないなと思っています。
この本棚を通して、
Authentic Huesの雰囲気や考え方を、
少しでも知ってもらえたらうれしいです。
まちライブラリーとは？
まちライブラリーは、
いつでも、誰でも、どこでも始めることができる、
「本」を通じて「人」と出会うまちの図書館です。

Authentic Huesの本棚について
Authentic Huesのオフィスにある本棚には、
色や装いに関する本だけでなく、
英語学習の本や英語の洋書など、
私自身が「おもしろい」「興味深い」と感じた本を置いています。

そんなことを、
ちょっと相談したり、少し話したりできる場所をつくりたい。
それが、まちライブラリーに登録したきっかけです。

ご利用について
まちライブラリーのご利用（本の閲覧・滞在）は無料です。
飲み物の持ち込みも可能です。
本の貸し出しは行っていません（館内での閲覧のみとなります）。
英語の学習に関するご相談や、
中学生・高校生の英語の宿題相談については、
30分／500円 の有料メニューとなります。

Machi Library at Authentic Hues
Authentic Hues is registered as a Machi Library,
and I’m planning to open the Machi Library on a regular basis —
though the schedule may be a little irregular.
My book collection isn’t very large,
but some people say you can learn a lot about a person by looking at their bookshelf.
I find that idea quite true.
Through this small collection of books,
I hope you can get a sense of the atmosphere and values behind Authentic Hues.
What is a Machi Library?
A Machi Library is a small community library that anyone can start, anywhere, at any time —
a place where people naturally connect through books.

About the book collection at Authentic Hues
The book collection in my office at Authentic Hues includes
not only books about color and style,
but also English-learning books and English novels —
all chosen simply because they caught my interest.
It’s meant to be a place where you can casually talk or ask questions about things like:
– color and personal color
– feeling unsure about English study
– getting stuck on English homework
I wanted to create a space where conversation can happen naturally,
and that feeling is what led me to register as a Machi Library.
You’re welcome to:
read a book
have a short chat
or simply spend some quiet time
Any of these is perfectly fine.
If you are currently learning Japanese and would like a relaxed place to practice,
or simply spend time around Japanese speakers, you are very welcome here.
About visiting
Spending time in the Machi Library space — browsing books and sitting quietly — is free.
You’re welcome to bring your own drink.
Books are for in-library reading only and cannot be borrowed.
In addition to reading, you can also ask small questions about English,
get help with high school English homework,
or talk about things you find difficult in your English classes.
(30 minutes / 500 yen)
Opening days will be shared on the Authentic Hues website.
