なぜ枚方でパーソナルカラーをやっているの？

私が枚方でパーソナルカラーをやっている理由は正直に言うと、とてもシンプル。私が枚方に住んでいるから。 それだけです。 （笑）

そして場所が牧野になった理由も、実はとてもシンプル。

駅から近い店舗スペースが、運よく空いていたからです。

理由はシンプルなんですが、枚方で住むようになって、いろいろな人に出会い、
枚方には魅力のある人がたくさんいるなと感じるようになりました。

パーソナルカラーの発祥地はアメリカなのに、アメリカでは日本ほど
「似合う色」や「パーソナルカラー」という言葉を聞いた覚えがありません。

ただ、人それぞれの個性をそのまま表現する文化はとても強いと感じます。
中には個性が強すぎて、「おお！」とびっくりすることも。（笑）

枚方で出会う人たちを見ていると、
アメリカのように個性を前に出しているわけではないけれど、
内側にしっかり個性を持っている面白い人が多いなと感じます。

（話してみると「おお！」となることも多いです。笑）

出会った人の中には、すでに自分らしさで輝いている人もいれば、
まだその魅力に気づいていない人や、うまく活かせていない人も意外と多い印象です。

それともう一つ、私自身あまり

「枚方だと、大阪まで行かないとない」

という考え方に、少し違和感があります。

日本では、なんとなく
「東京に行かないと無いよね」
みたいな空気を感じます。

どうしても、一点に集中しがちなところがあるなと感じます。

でも、アメリカにいたときは、
都市が一つに集中しているというより、
それぞれの街にそれぞれの魅力や文化があって、
もう少し分散している感じ。

わざわざ大阪まで出なくても、
枚方でパーソナルカラーを体験できる場所があってもいい。

そんな思いもあって、
枚方でパーソナルカラーをやっています。

枚方にも素敵なお店がたくさんあります。
その紹介は、また別のブログで私の熱い思いを語ろうと思っています。（笑）

自分の魅力に気づく方法はいろいろあると思います。
ファッションだったり、メイクだったり、普段身につけるものだったり。

その中の一つとして、
色から自分を知る方法もあります。

身につける色が変わるだけで、
顔色が明るく見えたり、
気分が少し上がったりすることもあります。

パーソナルカラーは、

「この色しか着てはいけない」

というものではなく、
自分に似合いやすい色の傾向を知るヒントのようなものです。

色は、ただのファッションではなく
自分らしさを表現する一つのツールだと私は思っています。
なので、ファッションに興味がなくても知っていてほしい。

枚方には魅力的な人がたくさんいます。

その魅力に、
色を通して気づく人が少しでも増えたらいいなという思いと
もっと枚方をカラフルにしたいという気持ちで

Why am I doing personal color analysis in Hirakata?

To be honest, the reason is very simple.

Because I live in Hirakata.
That’s it. lol

And the reason I ended up in Makino is just as simple.

A space close to the station happened to be available at the right time.

Simple reasons, but after moving to Hirakata and meeting many people here,
I started to feel that there are so many interesting and genuinely charming people in this area.

Personal color analysis actually originated in the U.S.,
but I don’t remember hearing terms like “personal color” or “colors that suit you”
as much as you do in Japan.

What I did notice, though, is that in the U.S.,
people tend to express their individuality very openly.

Sometimes very openly. lol

Here in Hirakata, I feel it’s a bit different.

People don’t necessarily put their individuality on display,
but when you talk to them,
you realize they have a strong sense of who they are underneath.

(And sometimes you go, “Oh wow.”)

Some people are already shining in their own way,
while others may not yet realize their uniqueness,
or haven’t quite figured out how to express it.

There’s also something else I’ve been thinking about.

I’ve never really agreed with the idea that
“you have to go to a big city to get good services.”

In Japan, there’s often this unspoken feeling of
“you have to go to Tokyo to find something good.”

Everything tends to be quite centralized.

When I was in the U.S.,
it felt more distributed—
each city had its own character, culture, and value.

So I think—

why shouldn’t you be able to experience something good right where you live?

You shouldn’t have to travel all the way to a big city
to experience personal color analysis.

That’s one of the reasons
I chose to do this here in Hirakata.

There are also many wonderful local businesses here in Hirakata.

I’ll probably talk about some of them in another blog post—
I have quite a lot to say. lol

There are many ways to discover your individuality—
through fashion,
makeup,
or what you choose to wear every day.

And one of those ways is through color.

Sometimes, just changing the colors you wear
can brighten your complexion
or lift your mood a little.

Personal color is not about
“you can only wear these colors.”

It’s simply a guide—
a way to understand which colors tend to work well for you.

To me, color is not just about fashion.
It’s a tool for expressing who you are.

So even if you’re not particularly interested in fashion,
I think it’s still something worth knowing.

There are many wonderful people in Hirakata.

If more people could discover their strengths through color,
and if Hirakata could become just a little more colorful—

that would make me very happy.

That’s why I do personal color analysis here in Hirakata.
