Spring
Summer
Autumn
Winter
Personal Color Analysis Isn't the Goal
One thing I hear surprisingly often when people find out I work with personal color is:
"I had my colors done years ago, but honestly, I've forgotten what season I was." 😆
Or:
"I think they said I was a Summer... but I never really knew what to do with that information."
And you know what?
That doesn't surprise me at all.
In fact, I think it's completely normal.
You can sit through a color analysis, take notes, and learn a lot during the session.
But then you go shopping for clothes.
Or you're standing in front of a makeup display.
And suddenly you're thinking:
"Okay... now what?"
Honestly, that's exactly what I'd expect.
The same thing happens whenever we learn something new.
You leave feeling inspired and thinking,
"Ah, that makes sense!"
But very few people can take a lesson they heard once and immediately put it into practice without any effort.
So if you've forgotten your season, that's normal.
If you're not quite sure how to use the information, that's normal too.
That's why I don't think personal color analysis is the finish line.
I think it's the starting point.
It's a chance to begin discovering things like:
What colors naturally work well for me?
What colors am I drawn to?
What kind of impression do I want to create?
Personal color gives us a place to start exploring those questions.

Whether you were told you're a Spring.
A Summer.
An Autumn.
Or a Winter.
Honestly, remembering the label isn't the most important part.
What's more important is being able to use that knowledge in your everyday life.
At least, that's how I see it.
So if you've forgotten your season, don't worry.
You're not failing some kind of personal color test.
The real value of personal color isn't memorizing a season name.
It's using color as a tool to better understand yourself—and to enjoy color with a little more confidence and a little more intention.
